Montrose Congregation

The Montrose Presbyterian Church commenced on Sunday, September 25 1994 as an outreach of St Johns in Hobart's northern suburbs. The building was formerly the Glenorchy Gospel Chapel in Islington Road. 

          St John's Associate minister, Rev Rod Waterhouse, is the Moderator of Montrose.

The weekly worship service is at 10.00 am and is followed by a morning tea.

 

Sunday School operates at the same time as the worship service and caters for children from 4 upwards.

 

The youth work is tied in with St Johns and meets on Friday evenings.

 

Growth Group meetings alternate with a  prayer meeting  on Wednesdays.
